Girls ( 13-18) and young women (18-25) from a religious-haredi background who are at risk
Young girls and women from a religious and haredi background will lead healthy, independent, and productive lives in the community
The Yedidut Toronto Foundation supports a number of housing frameworks which are run by professional NGOs that are recognized by the children and teen services or by the youth and young adult branch of the the Ministry of Social Welfare.
The residences are located in Jerusalem and offer the girls and young women a religious-haredi, therapeutic and safe framework in the community.
The NGOs offer the beneficiaries an all-inclusive package in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Social Welfare and the Yedidut Toronto Foundation. Furthermore, they preserve the unique haredi character while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
When a girl/young woman moves into the apartment, she undergoes an evaluation which is used to build a detailed, therapeutic program which is individualized to her needs. The therapeutic program, which is created in partnership with the girl/young woman, is implemented over the course of her residence in the housing facility.
