General Background

The labor market as we know it is changing rapidly: globalization, market demands and technological developments are accelerating change, and challenging organizations and businesses around the world. Professions with rote routines are disappearing, while professions that require creativity are increasing. Recent studies show that about 40% of those employed in Israel are in occupations at risk of being automated. Experts estimate that 35% of the occupational skills currently perceived as necessary will no longer be relevant in five years.
